Futago Yama・Futago Ike

Go up to the 2,093meters high （6860ft） Ookawara Pass from Maeyama through Tateshina skyline which completed its maintenance in Heisei 10 (1998). Visitors can walk about 30min from Ookawara pass the entrance of the mountain climbing to Futago yama mountain.
　Futago yama is the highest place in Saku-city (2,223.8m or 7293 ft) and consists 2 gentle grassland mountains with highland plants bloomed. In the top of the mountain, you can see Tateshina yama mountain or Kita Yatsugatake mountains including Yokodake.
　By walking additional 30 min, Visitors can see mystic Futago Ike pond. This is simple hiking course which visitors can enjoy seeing wonderful Kita Yatsugatake nature.
