Saku Municipal Museum of Modern Art (English)

Saku Municipal Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1983.
Our collection is based on the rich Japanese modern art collection endowed by Yui Ichiji (油井一二, 1909-1992), who was an entrepreneur (the first president of Bijutsu Nenkan-sha), born in Saku city.
Today, the collection consists about 3,400 Japanese modern and contemporary art works. We hold collection exhibitions two or three times a year except in winter.
